Sometimes projects go off track and pressures on the client and the contractor can lead to challenging working relationships, and ultimately, disputes arise.

Disputes can be costly, and if not dealt with professionally, they may never be resolved. The aim of mediation is to avoid legal action.

Disputes often taint the project for both sides, and it is advisable to resolve the issues amicably if possible.

Arkonix can carry out an independent service that will bring you and your builder together, with the aim of resolving the issues and agreeing an action plan.

If your builder does not want to take part we can carry out the report service to ensure you are fully prepared and armed to take appropriate next steps.

As part of our mediation  service we carry out a full review of the approvals (planning and warrant for example) and a review of the contract.

We can also inspect the project and produce a fully itemised and photographic record, commenting on quality, compliance, and risks, as well as suggesting solutions and outcomes.
